I was a sufferer of Patchy Alopecia Areata, as a child, and lost my hair multiple times between the ages of 6 and 10, but luckily for me with treatment I fully regained my hair.
Knowing what it’s like and what these children are experiencing, I feel privileged to be able to give back, and support not just the children but everyone that is affected.
I am proud to be associated with Alopecia New Zealand and believe that these gatherings, are so important and would have made a massive difference to me way back in the 70’s.
